Dr Catherine Keating
Dr Catherine Keating is a public health expert currently working as a strategy and research advisor with Eucalyptus. She previously led the preventive health investment strategy for the Medibank Group, where she partnered with industry, research institutes and start-ups to design, test and scale new health services and technologies to improve the health of Australians.
Catherine is also currently an Enterprise Fellow at the University of Melbourne, an Advisory Member at Monash University’s Centre for Health Economics and Deal Flow Adviser for AndHealth. Catherine’s career has also spanned management consulting, health research & international development.
She has published >45 publications regarding the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of new services to prevent and manage chronic health conditions in leading medical journals. She has led health strategy and economics projects for private, government and UN clients. Finally, she has assessed the health and economic impact of health programs funded by the United Nations, Asian Development Bank and AusAID in the Asia-Pacific Region.
She holds a PhD in Health Economics, a Masters in Public Health and clinical qualifications as an Occupational Therapist. Last year she won the Australian Clinical Trials Committee Partnership Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to industry-research partnerships.
