About the role (What you'll be doing)

Working closely with our internal and external stakeholder, your key responsibilities include:

• End to end ownership of the accounts payable processes for our entities in Australia
  • Timely and accurate processing of invoices into our ERP system
  • Ensure that suppliers are paid accurately on a timely manner
  • Perform 3-way matching in the ERP system or manual matching
  • Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
  • Managing accounts payable intercompany invoicing as required
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of all payables activity
• Vendor Masterfile Maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries
  • Collection of documents for vendor onboarding and importing data into our ERP system
  • Assist with updating and maintaining vendor information in our ERP system and internal systems
  • Assist with resolving vendor disputes and issues in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensures SLAs and KPIs for Accounts Payable are met
• Assists in bank reconciliation related to payments, as required
• Provide support and assistance to end of month activities and audit as required.
• Responding to staff queries pertaining to accounts payable as required.

About you (Who you are)

• Proven 2-3 years experience in accounts payable role
• Experience using Netsuite is required
• Experience with Google Suite (Sheets) or Excel required
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledgable of basic accounting concept
• Strong analytical and keen to details skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously with little to no supervision
• Demonstrated ability to form and maintain business partner relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support key outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to learn new cloud based tools to automate AP workflows
